The warm air will be here for the better part of 48 hours!

The next weather-maker arrives tonight and will bring snow, ice, rain, wind and unseasonably mild temps to NL.

Warmer days are ahead… especially Friday and Saturday!

Cooler weather returns today behind Thursday’s thaw!

Snow continues in Labrador through Friday as cooler air returns to the Island.

Temperatures are already above freezing in the south as warmer air has begun its surge to the north.

A shift in wind direction is already underway, and that’s a big part of why the snow squalls have tapered off. As the winds turn southerly tonight, temperatures across much of Newfoundland will moderate—and in many cases rise above freezing before sunrise Thursday.

We are waking up to flurries and snow squalls across much of the West Coast, along with portions of the Burin Peninsula and southern areas of the Avalon Peninsula, including the southern shore at this hour (5:43 AM) as far north as Tors Cove.
